The Thames Valley Pétanque Association covers an area loosely from west of the M25 to nearly Oxford, predominantly centred on the Maidenhead area.
There are seven Petanque England affiliated clubs.
We run Regional events and have an active league that is run under the auspices of the "District"

Pétanque, sometimes called boules is a sport that is enjoyed by all the family, it can be played for fun in the garden or more seriously up to European and World Championship levels.
Our members will be happy to welcome you to their club and help you get started, so please feel free to contact one of the clubs listed.

Thanks to Suffolk Coastal for this nice trophy. They presented one to every region as this was the first Inter-Regionals they had attended, a very nice gesture.
Gordon & Phil (Kings Head) and Tara & Jean (Winnersh) represented Thames valley at this event on the 29th September.
Both did very well and qualified for the Gold event, unfortunately they were drawn against each other in the first round.
